Every ECFESA event is a chance to come together, celebrate our community, and generate resources that go directly back into supporting Elk Creek Fire. Here’s what we have coming up — and what we’re known for.
The Elevation Celebration is ECFESA's premier annual fundraising event — a spirited gathering that brings together the Elk Creek community, ECFPD personnel and their families, and supporters from across the Front Range for an evening of camaraderie, live entertainment, and mountain pride.
Expect great food, raffle prizes, live music, and the kind of heartfelt celebration that reminds us all why we love this community. Proceeds fund training programs, equipment purchases, and support for ECFPD members and their families.
When the mountain air turns cold, there's no better way to warm up than the Big Chili, ECFESA's legendary chili cook-off competition. Teams compete for the title of best chili on the mountain, and the community gets to be the judge.
Alongside the cook-off, the Big Chili features the Fire Fighter Challenge Course: a timed obstacle course running real fireground skills back-to-back, with one male and one female firefighter representing each participating district. It is a chance to see what crews train for every day, and to cheer on the men and women who answer the call.
Whether you're a die-hard competitor entering your secret recipe, a fan rooting for your local crew on the course, or a hungry attendee ready to taste every bowl, the Big Chili is a beloved Conifer tradition. Entry fees and donations at the door all benefit ECFPD support programs.
The Conifer Christmas Parade is one of the most beloved traditions in the Front Range — and ECFESA is proud to march alongside Elk Creek Fire in celebration of the season and the community we serve.
Lining the streets of Conifer, families cheer as ECFPD trucks and ECFESA members make their way through the holiday parade. It's one of our most visible opportunities to celebrate the district and show community pride. Come cheer us on — or march with us!
